Payment
Rates are quoted in South African Rand and are subject to change without prior notice. All accommodation must be paid either before or on arrival. This is to ensure that our guests are not inconvenienced with checkout during busy mornings and also to avoid any confusion about room rates. No bookings are guaranteed until reservation is confirmed by payment of a deposit. All online bookings are subject to an e-mail confirmation.

Payment may be made via Credit Card or cash. No cheques accepted. Online payments are subject to our Privacy Policy.

Refunds
A deposit of 25% of the total quote value will confirm your reservation (100% for bookings of one night only and group bookings of more than 2 rooms); the balance is strictly due on arrival in cash or by credit card (no debit cards accepted) or 5 working days prior to arrival by bank transfer. The deposit is non-refundable. The full amount is payable in case of cancellations less than 7 days prior to arrival, no-show or early departure; we will make every effort to resell a room in the event of a cancellation or early departure, in which case a cancellation fee of 100% for the first night cancelled and 25% for additional room nights is payable.

Rooms of Choice
Although every effort shall be made to provide you with the room of your choice, we reserve the option of room allocation. Should it be necessary to alter room allocation, for any reason, we shall endeavor to provide one with at least as good as facilities.

Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel any booking on any grounds we feel are necessary and will honor no liability by doing so. However, we will make every effort to find alternative accommodation for the guests, but we are not bound to do so.

Misrepresentation
While we make every effort to describe all aspects of our offer based on the truth and our best ability to describe these, we will not accept any responsibility for misinterpretation of any aspect of our offer. Furthermore, any information provided in oral form by any of the companies owners, employees or agents are solely of informative nature and never form part of a binding agreement between the parties. Alpha du Cap Guest House therefore will not accept any responsibility for incorrect information provided unless such information has been provided in writing.

Breakfast
If not stated otherwise, the room rates displayed on this website include a full English and Continental Breakfast. While we make every effort to take care of different cultures and religions, Alpha du Cap Guest House is not Halaal certified nor kosher.

Parking
Off-street parking with one parking bay per room is availabe in front of the guest house. Please inform us should you need parking for more than 1 car per room.

Laundry
For your convenience laundry bags are placed in your cupboard. Please deliver laundry to reception. Laundry will be done within 24 to 48 hours and the bill will be for your account.

Keys
A refundable key deposit of R50.00 will be payable upon check-in.

Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi
* The premises contain an unsupervised, open pool and jacuzz which may be used at the guests' own risk between 7am and 10pm.
* Children under the age of 12 must be supervised at all times by their parents or legal guardian.

Children
* No children under the age of 4 are allowed.
* Children must be under adult supervision at all times, especially in the public facilities, in the garden and around the open pool and jacuzzi area.
* The guesthouse staff will under no circumstances supervise children.

General
* Bookings are for holiday purposes only and cannot give rise to a tenancy
* Persons occupying the guesthouse rooms may not exceed the number of persons indicated upon booking.
* Please leave your room and the guesthouse reasonable tidy and clean after use.
* Out of respect for all guests, noise must be kept down to a comfortable level and we request that there be silence in the house between 22h00 (10pm) and 06h00 (6am).
* Room Service and Wake-Up Calls are available on request.
* Please make use of the signs "Please Clean Room" and "Do Not Disturb".
* Please keep furniture, fixtures and fittings in the same state of repair and condition as at the beginning of your stay. In the event of any damage to furniture, fixtures or fittings, you may be held liable for the replacement value or repair costs. This includes damage to the pool area.
* The use of open fires and the burning of any candles or lanterns, in or around the guesthouse, will not be permitted.
* We operate a non-smoking policy throughout the guesthouse. You are welcome to smoke outside the house, where ashtrays and / or bins are provided.
* No pets or animals, with the exception of guide dogs, are allowed on the premises.
*The use or sale of any illegal substance in the guesthouse or on surrounding property is not permissible.
* We reserve the right to eject a guest/guests from the guesthouse if they are not conducting themselves in an appropriate and / or acceptable manner to the building and/or other residents or staff.

Domicilium Citandi et Executandi
* This contract is governed by the South African Law and the South African courts shall have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute between you and Alpha du Cap Guesthouse.
* Alpha du Cap Guesthouse chooses its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement as:
